DIY Update: Our Monogram~officially DONE!:)

If you've been following our blog, I already created several monograms last January ( you can check it here ). Though I like some of it already, I'm still not satisfied. I don't want it to be the usual bold letter + curl letter monogram, I want some twist in it. So after hundreds of revisions and discussions with James, we finally finished our monogram.

I want our monogram to have a Parisian twist while James likes it classic. We incorporated our color motif- Plum/Purple, Silver Gray and Antique Gold.

So here it is!, I'm happy to present our classic Parisian inspired monogram :)

Our monogram: DONE! :)

If you've been following my blog, I recently posted our D-I-Y project list for our wedding. Last Saturday, I got inspired and started doing our monogram ( I actually made some samples last year but I didn't like it so I have to do it all over again hehe). Below are the 5 monograms I created, I still need to revise the colors because they are too light ( weird they appear dark in my monitor, so now it's time to buy a new one so I could design well).

Monogram 1

Monogram 2

Monogram 3

Monogram 4

Monogram 5

I love them all, but my favorite is monogram 4. Good thing before I asked James which of the designs he liked best, he immediately told me he likes monogram 4 :D A little tweak with the colors and we're all set :D

I'm done with the monograms, now off to do the rest in the list :)

The first attempt-Wedding Monogram

This is my first attempt to create a wedding monogram for a  co-w@wie member. Sis Roan is also an INC bride-to-be next year January. I volunteered to help her with her monogram since I really wanted to enhance my designing skills again ( hopefully I can become a professional graphic designer someday). We have the same wedding color motif- Plum/Purple and Teal. But she wanted a Damask design with black and white accent, while mine is a Vintage Paris monogram theme with silver and carnation pink accent.

Here's her monogram, I hope she'll like it :)
